Welcome to my southern African photoblog in which I showcase mostly nature and wildlife images of South Africa's Kruger National Park as well as, but to a lesser extent, photography of some of Namibia's National Parks and nature reserves such as Etosha National Park, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Cape Cross Seal Reserve, etc.
The title 'The way to Crook's corner' is used metaphorically.

S1 Doispane road between S4 and S56. Near Skukuza and Paul Kruger gate. Flora classification: Skukuza thickets and dense bush savanna. Approximate impala number in 2003: 150000.
